In the spirit of reconciliation, us at Ailean believe it is important to acknowledge that the land in which we gather is the traditional territory of Treaty 7 (comprising the Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations), the Tsuut'ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda people (comprising the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations), as well as the Métis Nation of Alberta.

We recognize the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples on this land from time immemorial and pay our respects to their elders past and present. Through this acknowledgment, we commit to honoring and respecting the land, its treaties, and the inherent sovereignty of its peoples.
